Drove to madisa camp today only around 50 miles and we stopped off at a few places on the way.
The petrified forest is 260 million years old and mostly buried underground.
Moved on to Twyfelfontein - the site of 6000 year old rock engravings. Temperature was getting towards 38C here so a tad on the warm side.
Our accommodation tonight is a tent with an outside shower and toilet- should be fun! There are just a dozen tents here.
